    Why in the hell didn't he then? If he got a cruiserweight belt and then took those belts from AJ...he might have been considered the GOAT

    Ward is crazy. I think Ward benefited by getting away with a lot of rough/dirty tactics in some of his bigger fights. I also think PEDs helped him. He plays the good Christian so no one ever considered him the bad guy, but I think he was a dirty fighter... in and out of the ring.

    I respect Andre Ward and am fan of his career. Yes he is a better pound for pound fighter than AJ but the real question is would he have survived the shots AJ hit Ruiz with that put Ruiz down. Don’t think he would because of the size and power difference.

    Ward is jealous that AJ received more adulation from winning Olympic Gold than he did. He realised AJ was getting paid more per fight than Ward made his whole career by the same time he was challenging for world honours.

    Even at Cruiserweight I don't think Ward could get past Usyk.
