i would hesitate to call them great, until they prove themselves at HW. Nevertheless, Usyk is the greater, he unified over several fights the HW subdivision of CW. I think Usyk is way too slick for fury. still, too early to judge i guess.
how come theres people on here who both claim that superheavyweights are more evolved AND CW>HW. Whats going on there.
Usyk isn`t even nearly as powerful as Wilder and not many could have come back from that knockdown in the 12th.
Ruiz was heavier than AJ and is fasr heavier than Usyk will be against Takam at 268lbs, Ruiz hits way harder than Usyk so can match big guys like AJ and force them back Usyk doesn`t have the firepower to do that, that`s the difference to Ruiz fighting AJ toUsyk fighting AJ, making the mistake of leaving your head on the center line so much like AJ did v Ruiz won`t matter as much against Usyk and that will help Fury too, who made the mistake of moving back on the center line v Wilder.
Anything short of Fury at his absolute best, I'd pick Usyk to win. Simply because, Usyk is a lot more consistent with his peak (or close to his peak) performances whilst Fury's has significant fluctuations in his form. Having said that, I think Fury at his ABSOLUTE peak may very well be too much for Usyk to handle for now. I think if they fought multiple times, Usyk would get the better of Fury but Fury would most likely win when at his absolute best.
Hard to call. Both highly slick and skilled. Fury might nick it just due to size and reach advantage. Thats one fight in the division that will probably will never happen.
Really think Uysk is a great boxer and he will in my opinion be successful at heavy weight, but if there's one fight I would avoid for the time being is the Fury fight. I think Fury's height and movement will be too much despite Uysk having good footwork and being great at closing the distance.
One of the hardest fights to imagine imo. Too much slickness involved from either part, too much smoothness, too much ring iqness. I just don‘t know who would win lol. I go with 50/50.
I think Fury wins wide on points or gets a late stoppage. Fury’s a master boxer on the backfoot, he’d make it very difficult for Usyk to get past the jab and within scoring range without getting clocked with the right hand.
All good unless he gets a ref (an Ex Mayweather one will do it) that lets Fury hang/lean on & he'll tire Uysk a lot!
