Not disputing Hearn’s apparent 40k offer to Ruiz I can absolutely see him offering such pathetically low amount of money. But to say “Schaub is spot on when it comes to fighting” is a bit of stretch bud. He thought Breazeale would KO Ruiz in a round to give you some context the guy is a pure casual certainly when it comes to boxing.
You're maybe right about him when it comes to boxing, that's massive disrespect to Ruiz, he'd smash up the quarter back. I've not heard him go too much into boxing. I've mainly only heard him speak about MMA, which I'm also a big fan of and he knows his stuff with that but then that's his thing being an ex UFC fighter. He is spot on with the politics around boxing in that video though.

As much as I like Schaub he spouts a lot of rubbish particularly about boxing. So let me get this right. Hearn has supposedly paid Martin £4m, wlad £10m, Parker £4m and Povetkin £4m and all of a sudden he’s offered Ruiz 40k . Sounds like major BS to me. For reference Bellew earned £90k which was a dreadful purse to fight Masternak. No fighter in the last 5 years has been paid less than seven figures for the Joshua fight.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the 40k would be what Ruiz would of been left with after his team took their cut, tax etc. That's probably were the figure came from. How much do you think he got for his fight against Parker? That is the sort of stuff Hearn comes out with, thrown in with 'chance to win the belts' Schaub isn't going to make it up plus he kicks about in the circles of people who would know this sort of stuff out in LA, or maybe got it from Ruiz himself as he said he knows him. I'd take his word over your opinion anyway that's for sure.
What are you waffling on about. It makes zero difference to me but hanging out in circles in LA does not mean you know any thing. Ruiz got $1m to fight Parker. Be realistic with the nonsense you’re listening to. Hearn paid Roman and Doheny $200k to fight and you think he’s offering a quarter of that for a Joshua fight. OK then.
