    @kirk @Drinquor @PinoyProdigy Just a thought about the points system in the league. Wouldn't it be better and more consistent with how boxing is scored; if we assumed every month is a round -> award points to the, say top 10 competitors every month (10th player gets 1 point, 9th gets 2 points, 8th gets 3... top player gets 10 points) and after 12 months/rounds the competitor with most monthly points win the league?

    Right now it's impossible to rank high in the league if you start late or miss the picks for a couple of weekends for watever reason. A month by month point system would make more sense, imo. Current system limits the league to merely 25-30 players because there is no point joining it in the middle of the year. The competitor with most successful underdog picks in a month, the one with most KO's in a month, the people's champ for every successul defense could get a few extra points as well.

    Which is exactly why it fascinates me. I've actually been working on a huge list of Virgo Moons that I'll post somewhere )probably this thread), where I've drawn a ton of similarities and consistencies, I've done that with a few others as well, I'll post it in a day or two when I'm done

    As far as Carapaz goes, I'm partially thrilled and partially pissed. I was rooting hard or the Shark Of Messina, I love it when the old guys have one last stand, I cried during the Angliru stage that Contador won at the Vuelta, that was absolutely beautiful, I had the same reaction when Fabian won his medal, ironically both Virgo Moons (emotions), so I guess I feel emotionally connected to them.:lol: Same for Fuglsang winning Liege Bastogne Liege, I was literally jumping for joy, he's an Aries (I had no idea:lol:). But at the same time, I love seeing guys that no one expects come out of nowhere and take the W. Hopefully Carapaz can build on this, an translate this success to the Tour which is easier said than done. Sadly for poor Primoz, I think he blew his load in his incredibly successful spring campaign.

    Somebody will explain it better then me but there is already a monthly award to help motivate anybody joining late and I believe the overall leader board is based on the difference between wins and losses and not the actual amount of overall wins.

    eg. your current record 122-36 and the guy behind you record is 130-45 and the reason you are ahead is because of the gap difference between your wins and losses.
    122-36=86 and his is 130-45=85

    I think the league is pretty set in its system... however, I absolutely understand the feeling and the benefit behind what youre saying. Ots something that has bugged me before. I'll do some thinking on it... thanks for bringing this up.
