BJS wants nothing to do with Smith unless he's retiring and thinking of his cash-out fight. He'd get stopped. BUT.....I don't even think there's that much money in the fight. Not many casuals have even heard of either fighter.
BJS got rocked quite badly by Isufi, I've never seen him wobbled like that. Smith hits a lot harder than that and BJS won't be able to stay away from a big shot all night.
How does anyone on this forum know what Billy Joe Saunders want? Seriously, ffs. I reckon Smith is probably too big for him but it's not a foregone conclusion. Billy is as tough as they come and slicker than anyone Smith has faced. It'd be Smith's toughest opponent by a mile don't forget. Groves had seen better days.
Smith has never faced anybody like BJS. Callum Smith is straight up and down, no special effects. Traveller boxers have granite chins. You don't see Fury getting wobbled.
I don't know man, Fury has been put down in a few fights, that's more than a wobble. Smith is so much bigger than BJS, he'd seriously hurt him if he landed a decent number of big punches, I don't care how tough BJS is, he's not One Punch Mickey O'neil, this is real life.
BJS is a middleweight, has little business being at super. Callum will have to step up as time goes on, as he's as huge as they come for SMW. Agreed that Smith would win - nonsense fight and won't happen.
I was of the same opinion as you, mate. Fielding was v big but couldn’t keep him at range whereas Smith is a few levels up from him (and bigger) & every shot both on the outside and inside has power. P4P Canelo is better though imo.
Canelo is absolutely amazing. A P4P king and an all time great. However it’s no disrespect to say you can only step up so far, no matter who you are and stepping up against Callum is effectively stepping up another two weights.
I saw Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury. a real fighting man wobbling all over a ring in Bulgaria fighting Pudding Pulev.
