It's really sickening how many so-called pundits are saying that Joshua is no good, that his trainer is no good, and that he should forget about fighting Ruiz again. It's strange, because before the fight all these people picked Joshua to win. It doesn't make much sense, does it? First they say Joshua beating Ruiz is a foregone conclusion, and the next day they say that Joshua has no chance of beating Ruiz. The reason for all this is that these people have an agenda. They managed to lower Joshua's guard, and now they want to make sure he never gets his titles back. They want Al Haymon to have all the HW titles. I wonder whom they work for? Hmmm... And the worst thing is that people listen to PBC employees and actually believe them when they say this senseless rubbish. My prediction is that Joshua will knock out Ruiz very easily in their rematch, just like Joe Louis did to Max Schmeling, Floyd Patterson did (twice) to Ingemar Johanson, Lennox Lewis did to Hasim Rahman, and Vladimir Klitschko did to Lamon Brewster. And that's just to name a few off the top of my head. It's weird that so many "pundits" consider it unfathomable that the mighty Andy Ruiz could be beaten in a rematch by Anthony Joshua, a man who knocked out two better fighters in Alexander Povetkin and Vladimir Klitschko. I've been hearing too many people repeat PBC talking points in the past few days. Think for yourselves, folks! The mind is a terrible thing to waste.
the sad thing is seeing how so many people in the boxing industry are kicking a man while he's down, so much envy and jealousy that was being repressed by boxers, managers, promoters and commentators are now coming out. yes joshua might be somewhat tough and cold in the background and behind the scenes and has a forced behavior of being good and has made some racist comments to the world but he hasnt done anything to warrant the disrespect being given towards him. wilder is the one who should be being bashed constantly, and fury also is a con artist who has made people think he's a good guy. there are no friends in boxing and you can't tell until you really have those loyal to you until you retire. so i say shame on everybody crapping all over him right now.
Immediate rematch. Wlad didn't have an immediate rematch with Brewster, for example. In Wlad's first fight back, he was floored and got cut and barely beat freaking Davarryl Williamson on a split-technical decision. In fact, Wlad didn't fight Brewster again for THREE years, after Brewster had been in several wars and had lost again and was blind in one eye. It's jarring for people to try to come back from knockout losses. Especially against the person who just knocked them out. Especially when you only give yourself five months or so. Nobody is saying Joshua, who is only 29, can't come back and beat Andy Ruiz a few years from now after Joshua has come back and put together some wins and whatever happens to Ruiz happens to Ruiz. Coming back five months later, however, Ruiz will be flying high still and Joshua won't know if he can take Ruiz's shots any better than he did last time. Lots of Hall of Famers have tried to regain belts in immediate rematches and failed miserably. It's not PBC propaganda. It's boxing history.
I like AJ however its inevitable there will be criticism when he loses. the fact is he legally and contractually has a right to an immediate rematch. The sanctioning bodies will play ball because of the high sanctioning fees they get from Joshua's fights. Also Matchroom have Dillian Whyte who is highly ranked and would likely contest a title if made vacant.
What a stupid post . You shouldn't use the word FACT either,bc you Never post them .lol Wlad didn't fight Brewster bc he hooked up with Don king who kept his fighters away from the Klitschkos like Byrd until he was mando and kept Stiverne well away from either . The Brewster fight was actually made WITHOUT Don King involved . History shows dominant era champions almost always win rematches, stop being a putz !
People are fickle. They don’t know ****. Watch Ruiz lose his belts in no time, and they will never bring him up again.
