Here we go again I'm not accusing AJ of nothing but he didn't look like the AJ we are accustomed to seeing Seen it
Of course it was. though It shouldn't take GGG telling you this to realise the obvious. I said it on fight night, as soon as I saw him look to Mccraken in bewilderment and ask ''why I'm I feeling like this though?'' It was clear he was surprised his usual second wind didn't arrive and did not understand why he wasn't as explosive as usual They probably attempted to reassure him before the fight, that even though he was coming off his cycle,he would still reap everlasting benefits from doping and Ruiz was too small and chubby to do pose any threat I've always maintained that a clean AJ, fighting on a level playing field is a mediocre fighter.
Can please somebody explain the "VADA argument" to me? As far as i know Joshua was tested by VADA before.
UKADA is the UK and they allow the use of some drugs as long as it’s not the fight night test.. Remember if BJS vs Andrade was scheduled in the UK the fight would still been on because they considered it like out of competition.. because the fight was scheduled to be in the US AJ had to be in the VADA pool as soon as the fight with Miller was signed..
Not if he had been assured that he would still be expected to feel the benefits. It's well documented that you still reap the rewards of anabolic steroids even following cessation. There is a reason why Mccracken didn't provide response when pressed by Aj for an explanation.
The feeling wasn't anything to do with drugs (or lack of). It was because he realized he was getting his arse handed to him by a short fat Mexican who was supposed to stay down when he got knocked down. The feeling was pure embarrassment and rightly so.
Yeah, when I'm being tested by VADA I forget how to box and get beat up by fat guys half my size too.
1. Nothing he did in the fight had anything to do with not being able to achieve a 'second wind'. He got dropped and it scrambled him. His reaction to getting teed off on was bewilderment more than anything physical. 2. PED's aren't the magic people make them out to be. Not only after 3 rounds (when he got dropped) would a guy whose been boxing for years suddenly crap out because he's supposedly off his PEDs. These are top athletes training day in day out, PEDs or not the boxing specific athleticism would be more than enough to last the bouts duration. Especially for a guy who isn't balls to the wall in activity round after round. Thinking a genetic beast like AJ is some chump off of roids who doesn't know what to do with himself in a skill reliant sport after multiple years performing boxing specific training and competing at the highest of levels? Please.
People love repeating the same narrative even when it doesn't tie into realirt. Yes his brain got scrambled in the 3rd round, yet in thr 4th and 5th Ruiz backed off, which helped Joshua fully regain his sense along with his equilibrium. He had recovered from the temple shot. Ruiz systematically broke him down by his unwillingness thereafter and Joshua just didn't know what to do to negate the relentless pressure which Ruiz was placing on him. Joshua had a few explosive bursts in the 5th and 6th in attempt to finish Ruiz, yet Ruiz took all of his best shots and still remained standing tall right in front of him inside the pocket. Joshua simply run of steam, run out of ideas because he had never faced an opponent who was willing to stand and trade and not cower in front of a synthetic overgrown physique. When the going got tough he ended up walking away from the ref and forfeiting the bout.
