I am referring to boxers who has positive impact to boxing and the fan base. Good or bad, they are the ones who bring in fan to watch boxing a supposed to hating boxing because of them. Here's my active boxer List ( not limited to them, just some of them) ; Not in particular order.. - Inoue - Ruiz - Pacquiao - GGG - Canelo - Lomachenko - Srisaket SR Who's included in your list?
Canelo gets a pass for him wanting to fight the best,as for weight clause and other A side stuff I don't care for it. Floyd's unbeaten run has had a negative on boxing.
It looks like you are referring to the people who not even argue with someone outside of the ring. In that case you can add the following: Gary Russel Jr & all the related Gary Russell's Ryan Garcia Devin Haney Mikey Garcia Maurice Hooker Keith Thurman Errol Spence Jr Julian Williams Austin Trout Erislandy Lara Callum Smith Badou Jack Oleksandr Usyk I could go on but there are many many more. I think these fighter have had a positive impact on their fans as well as the sport. They might not all be household names, there few active boxers who are nowadays.
surprised no one mentioned AJ, hate the fanboys all u want but he's done great things for boxing in the UK and heavyweight division as a whole agree with mayweather having a negative impact the most positive would be guys who try to fight the best; Pacquiao Ruiz AJ Loma Usyk Crawfrd
Great fights are good for boxing. And really the only guy fighting everybody is canelo. Wilder and aj played ***** and got ucked. Bud and truth wont fight. Chakal is avoided by everybody. Bunch of belt milkers.
CaneloWeight, rehydration clauses, catchweights, catchweights with rehydration clauses, PEDs, paid judges... Canelo's bad for boxing, actually.
How exactly is he good for the sport? He’s fighting and literally no one knows or cares. He can’t sell a PPV without Canelo as the A side. Good fighter, great career, but despite all the might HBO and Dazn have put behind him he’s not even an afterthought.
He behaves and carries himself like a true professional, very nice fella is old GGG. I also would say Tyson fury as boxing needs characters.
Ok he’s a good guy. But literally no one outside hardcore fans know who he is and that isn’t good for boxing. Agree on Fury. Says some stupid things but puts eyeballs on the sport.
Ruiz? He's seems nice but one of the biggest stories is how he won looking like that. Being obese isn't cool. Other than that, I like him. AJ is good for the sport.
