It's just a delaying tactic. The longer the delay is the more if favours Canelo.

GGG isn't quite as old as Canelo thought he was, so, another year will only put more miles on that clock.

Canelo is full of sh but we all knew if he escapes with the decision, he'll escape from the third fight, which is why I'm more mad at GGG not bringing the heat in a shootout, using power & stamina advantage. He was content to win 7 rounds, and got the Canelo decision everyone else did, so can't really blame GBP playing mind games, GGG got served for wrong fight tactics.

BTW, Golovkin won both fights on my card but does it matter now?

 

The money has to be crazy for the third fight, so crazy that it would be foolish for Canelo not to take it. It all depends on how devestating GGG looks in his future bouts and whether he shows some new skills which can convince casuals that the third Canelo fight will be different from the first two

 

What he said was that he would be willing to fight Golovkin at 155 without the belts on the line.
