The likes of Ruiz... you mean, someone better than Puritty? A guy that stopped Wlad? Ruiz, the guy roughly on the same level as Brewster? A guy that stopped a prime Wlad?

Honestly, he's probably thinking of how similar AJs loss is to his own losses and encouraging him to come back stronger and tells him the same idiots writing him off are from the same cloth as the ones the wrote Wlad off as well.

How dare a 22 y/o kid lose to a seasoned iron chinned guy like Purrity by gassing out. Wlad wasn't prime against Brewster. Three years later he easily nulified the same guy.

    Wlad wasnt prime for Brewster?
A 28 year old with over 40 professional fights, but... he wasnt prime?

And Brewster was hardly the same fighter for the Klitschko rematch. Ignoring the fact that the first Klitschko fight and the White Wolf fight took a lot out of him, more importantly, he could barely see out of his left eye in the rematch and basically took that fight purely as a last payday. In fact, when Klitschko fought Brewster the second time, he was still on medical suspension in America.

Theres a reason Brewster never again won a meaningful fight and retired a hanfgul of fights later.

He wasnt even close to the same fighter.

No he wasn't prime or near it. He peaked age 35 same as Lewis did. And on Lewis, Brewster was in way better shape than McCall for that rematch but no doubt you claim that as a legit win.

Peaked at 35  Ive heard it all. Making excuses that a 28 year old 44 fight professional wasnt prime. Thats a good one.

And what? I claim what as a legit win? McCall? Are you serious? Lol.. Youre ability to assume my position on that was horrible. Maybe you should stop trying to guess what other people think.

And I dont care what shape Brewster was in. He couldnt see in his left eye. He was medically suspended for gods sakes  Its well known that his sparring partners openly talked about how he was having trouble seeing in camp.

If you cant watch their second fight and discern with your own eyes that Brewster wasnt the same as the first, and if youre going to sit there and say a fighter with retina problems and coming off the back of a fight like he had with the white wolf, and 3 years older, on medical suspension, never again beating a good opponent , is the 'same fighter' then that speaks for itself.

Waldo never avenged his brutal loss to Corrie Sanders since he knew he could never avoid those fast punches and would get KTFO again so big brother with the better chin took on the task!! I see a repeat in the Joshua vs Ruiz sequel... unless they have it in the U.K. and spike Ruiz's Snickers Bars with Turbo Laxative and sleeping pills to secure a victory and also allow their Frankenroid Monster to Juice Up also just in case!! So he doesnt start gassing if he can't stop Ruiz early...

Wladimir should stay retired. No more fights. His era has come to an end.

Physically I would say yes. But that was Wlad's first fight with Emanuel, and it took some time together before Wlad's style was properly fine-tuned, as I see it.

its more like 4ko losses in about 10 fairly ok/world lvl opponents. Why would not write this? He still won half of them, thats not bad.
but I agree hes not get koed by everyone today, only SOME.

getting koed by josh, not a great argument.
actually it is a good argument - for the OP! You were feeling charitable and gave him some support, nice.

He peaked at 35, which was the middle of his long reign as Champ. I know it hurts that he was Champ for a decade right up to age 39 but cry harder.
