The moment he took a time out in the ring he quit. Dude thought he could huddle with his team during a fight. The guy basically went to the library read a book on how to survive and tried to continue after. The guy literally called his family back home and let them know he was getting whooped. Something tells me you were being sarcastic though. Carry on.
I have been saying that Ruiz is much better than fans think. Ruiz has fast hands, good chin, the change in trainers made a difference, plus he deserved the win in Australia!
It's like Big George said.... the ref is the most important man in the ring, not counting the two fighters.
True. Like Tony Weeks allowing Ward to land three punches to the testicles. Ward should have been disq.
He actually made couple of fighters quit as an amateur and early in his pro career. Boxing Kids who love their food (and have the potential to grow into 250lbs+) should use Andy Ruiz as their blueprint, best style for his build at heavyweight. Same applies to 160lbs+ iron chinned fast handed boxers who hate making weight, just move up to heavyweight & let your body bulk up naturally to 250+
The first time I saw him fight was against Tor the ***** Hamer. Even though I knew Tor was a coward because of the Glaskov fight, the way Ruiz intimidated Tor sent shivers down my spine. Ruiz is just a scary motha****a.
