He has always had problems eating punches. Old age doesn’t help. It takes less power to rattle your brain as you get older. Hope he recovers but hard to feel a lot of sympathy for a guy that knows he can’t take punches and fighting way way pass his time.
Hopefully no lasting damage. This has to be his last time in the ring, even if he makes a full recovery this should be a wake up call. There needs to be some form of retirement plan for boxers, put those sanctioning fees to good use.
He should be okay, American hospitals have state of the art opioids so he should be feeling better than most people. If he dies, he gets to leave at solid 140 out on his shield...Very impressive as he walked into death by his own choice...more than 56 times as a pro
