How does the trilogy work though? Seems an enormous amount of pre planning that in boxing never seems to come to fruition. I mean, Wilder is rematching Ortiz. Presumably this means he's not fighting Fury until early 2020? A rematch of that, presuming he beats Ortiz, isn't until at least mid 2020? And surely Fury isn't going to hang around idle from the moment he beats Schwarz all the way through until Wilder is ready? He'll surely want someone in the interim? God knows how a contract works for this sort of thing.
Wilder and Fury sold 325,000 US PPV's at 65 dollars a pop or whatever it was. It's also been said they sold several hundred thousand PPV's in the UK. They're now set up for a rematch which is guaranteed to be bigger than the first fight on both sides of the Atlantic and the winner will emerge as the outright no.1 in the division. I think you'll find they're about to make truck loads of cash without AJ. As much as Eddie said it, they really don't need AJ. The undisputed fight was growing and growing. Wilder was offered 12 million and eventually 40%. 50% was imminent, it's not their fault AJ lost and at least they still have each other for another couple of money spinning fights. Fights that will set up generations of their families for life. You can play down their achievements all you like, but they're currently no.1 and no.2 in the division and they're about to fight each other.
It's simple enough. Both keep winning and everything is sweet. Either lose and it may not be viable. I suppose it's extra motivation for their 'easy' fights.
Doesn't look like a man who will be distracted any time soon. Seen a video of him dancing today and he's never looked so slim. The belly is immovable but the rest of him has never looked so thin. He must be lightening quick atm. I understand Schwarz is a soft opponent but I'm looking forward to seeing Tyson perform.
He might be a soft opponent but he’s had flash knockdowns from soft opponents in the past. I hope he stays switched on and shows his class.
I know it's nothing but Tyson Furys social accounts seem to have been messed with. He has lost 750,000 followers for no apparent reason
Can probably find it but what rounds did you give wilder and why. I'd have it 120-108 if it wasn't for the knockdowns
He lost tons of real followers including myself. His following numbers seemed legit. Your boy Hearn will be taking advantage of this. "Look at the numbers, Koogz".
Ah ok, just a guess on my part, I'm not following this one. Just on fake accounts. Facebook deleted 2 billion last year alone. There's a lot of them... https://mashable.com/article/report-claims-half-facebook-maus-fake.amp
