Tell me why you are now so sure Wilder would beat Joshua if Joshua rebuilds

Wilder is a chinny one trick back foot fighter that's all one needs to know about why Aj wins. lol

Theres really not much to go into it bc its common sense why Joshua will have a severe style advantage not just skills.

IF wilder was to win he missed that opportunity over a year ago when AJ would not have been more experienced in big fights. He will have had many rounds since the Wlad fight and is only going to get more seasoned.

Ruiz could beat Joshua 10 times ,but wilder taking credit for it is complete nonsense unless he himself does it.

I gave Wilder a great chance before Ruiz

I would have favored Joshua but given Wilder a great shot

I'm trying not to pull too much out of the Ruiz fight and wil withhold judgement until the rematch. Joshua looked very flat, nervous, fought in total respect of Ruiz to the point where he was completely ineffective. If he rights all those wrongs and does what most felt he should have done the first time it would elevate my opinion of Joshua enough to make me forget the initial loss as a fluke or something else

Wilder has struggled with movers and southpaws and Joshua is neither. In fact the more passive you are vs Wilder the more he can get settled.

Joshua for me is good when he has to come forward but am not all that sold on his back foot boxing.. He was the aggressor vs Wlad and Parker two of his best opponents and longer fights.

I think this means Joshua would be in Wilder's range and from what I have seen Wilder is faster and more explosive

I do think with two guys as hard hitting as these two and still fairly in the proving themselves phase of their careers I dont think either can really be ruled out

On it's face one can say Wilder would beat AJ since he got utterly destroyed by Ruiz. But, let's not forget, Ruiz does some things better than Wilder. He slips and counters very well. His punches are coming in from different angle do to his shorter stature. I believe that is what gave Ruiz a distinct advantage in the fight. Personally I think AJ would see Wilders punches better than he did Ruiz's. I still would give Wilder the edge do to the speed, power and stamina advantage he has over AJ. Bottom line, time for talking is over, these guys need to fight soon so we finally get an answer.

Joshua is too stiff and isnt fluid enough to avoid Wilder’s right hand for whole 12 rounds. He can’t deal with the speed of Wilder.

This is classic example of styles making fights. Im not saying this because joshua lost to ruiz. I always thought that Wilder beats him.

Of course, stylistically you can argue Ruiz is more difficult opponent than say Wilder, due to his short height, fast hands and high level boxing IQ.

Evidence suggests Joshua fights better against opponents of similar height. I would not dispute that at all.

Saying that the reason why it's a straight forward fight for Wilder, is because Joshua is not a difficult opponent to hit. And it only takes one devastating punch from Wilder to end the fight.

Joshua requires a barrage of punches during an exchange to hurt his opponent. Do you not think that if Joshua goes through with an exchange with Wilder, that Joshua will then be able to evade his left or right hook counter?

I do not say this in jest with any exaggeration, but there is little to no chance of Joshua winning that fight, unless Wilder breaks both of his hands during the fight.

Joshua landed first against Ruiz. How did that turn out?

I’d probably favour wilder at this point but I can easily see him getting demolished himself, some punches AJ landed on Ruiz would likely flatten wilder. It goes both ways, wilder might land, but isn’t it likely the more technical sound Joshua will as well? But based on AJs recent display i’d Have to favour wilder.

The Joshua devotees are a committed breed of fundamentalists not unlike those shaven head, tambourine banging, robe wearing cultists I used to see at LAX. Reason and evidence escapes them and they have already chanted themselves into forgetting what was in plain sight for the rest of the world last week.

Wilder would have always cracked A.J. Joshua is robotic and hittable and now we have seen that glass chin.

Can't reason with the Fundies though. They just keep banging that tambourine on their hip and chant louder.

    Are you really that silly?
What had that to do with anything?
    All fights are different

Do you think Ruiz hit Joshua as hard as wladimir did when he knocked Joshua down? I don't but it's what I have said about all fights being different.

I want to see how Joshua performs in the Ruiz rematch before making a call here. Too many question marks at the moment.

What a joke. Wilder's record is NOTHING but a collection of pathetic tomato cans, mediocre journeymen and washed up contenders, and a couple of OLD MEN who had ailments. He is the biggest fraud going.

Simply because of how hard Wilder punches and Joshua not so good chin and defense. And I think wilder could take Joshua punches better and would catch him

I'm one of those staff members. Learn from me. Starting with this:

When Wlad knocked Joshua down, he let him off the hook. Ruiz didn't. And he has faster hand speed as well. That's why the bodybuilder went down crashing 4 times.

And my point still stands. What happens when Joshua lands first? You hit him back. All 4 knockdowns came from when Joshua landed something first. And all 4 times Ruiz came back and put him on ***** street. That's what happens when Joshua lands first.
