Canelo is gunning for undisputed at 160 GGG knocked out rolls last night and wants him Canelo now ? So is canelo ducking a trilogy? Or would you rather see him fight Andrade for legacy and become undisputed
Time for them to both move on. The only way GGG is getting the win over Canelo is by KO, the judges will make sure of that. At 37, GGG isn't stopping Canelo by KO.
It's a good question, does Canelo attempt to become undisputed by fighting Andrade, or should he fight GGG again, or does he challenge himself vs the 168 King and fight Callum Smith. He has a difficult decision here. But it's hard to say he's ducking GGG when he already fought him twice.
OK C.J. we know your view of the two fights, we know you think GGG won. But the question is is Canelo ducking GGG? Regardless of who deserved the W, wouldn't you agree that it's hard to argue Canelo is ducking GGG at this point? He already fought him twice and didn't back down from coming right at GGG in the rematch. Now clearly DLH wants to make GGG wait, and **** DLH for saying that, but I don't see how you can argue that Canelo is ducking him. He fought him twice already.
If I am Canelo I go for Andrade September, stay busy December, GGG III in May As a fan I'd like to see the Callum Smith fight most, but this is truly risky, look at the size difference. Liam Smith gave Canelo a pretty decent fight and he's much smaller and not as good either.
I don't think he can book Andrade for September though as he has a defense scheduled for later this month. He would have to wait until July to call out Andrade and by that point the Sept date would be less than 2 months away. I think he has to make a decision soon before the end of the month, before Andrade's fight which is why I think it'll be GGG 3 or Callum Smith for September. And I Agree Callum Smith is a very risky fight, arguably a bigger challenge than GGG 3.
it's humorous isn't it. GGG only just returned after a 9 months hiatus and Canelo's ducking him again lmao.
At this stage, definitely. I suspect it will be GGG 3 simply because the DAZN bosses want the money. The other likely alternative is to wait and fight a lesser opponent, GGG will likewise end up taking another tune up. It's purely a financial game for DAZN, and the same goes for GGG at this point. Callum Smith is too risky for Canelo, Andrade is too risky for GGG, a loss hurts the trilogy fight too much to be risked.
