You will struggle to find anyone with a good word to say about Dave. I've spoken to pro boxers, trainers, managers and i don't recall anyone saying anything good about the man and tbh it's quite the opposite. They all speak I'll of him
But what's the reason though that people inside boxing think he's a nob of the highest order as well? We fans can see just from his videos that he's a slimey rat but is there anything else he's done inside boxing that warrants abuse from those within the sport? I think I read somewhere he screwed someone over in a business deal. Like I said before, he's the type to sleep with his brothers wife and just sit there with his little smug rat feature like face and shrug it off.
Two pros I know, one was managed by him and he said he pulled some stunts with him. The other told me that when they were all in the company of Eddie Hearn, Coldwell just licked his ass and agreed with everything he said. He said it was blatantly obvious he was a brown nose, to the point of been repulsive. A trainer I know said Coldwell tried chatting his wife up whilst he was supposed to be friends with the trainer. A manager I know said Coldwell tried tapping his fighters up. That's just a bit of what I've heard.
There is no other trainer who is so closely aligned to one network or promotional company like this clown. Every time I see him swanning around waffling crap on sky, I think shouldn't you be in the gym with your fighters?
