If he fights any of the top 5 guys I would edge to them, I think canelo would retire him this time. He is clearly slower, he is less active and he is fighting purely for money now which is dangerous if you take on top fighters like a prime Canelo
I think the roided concrete slabs from Roidnelo took a lot of out him... I too would no longer favor him over Roidnelo, Saunders, or even a seemingly rejuvenated Lemieux. He still handles Jacobs, Andrade, and Deveryanchenko, though.
You say he looks dreadful in you're original post but then say he handles Jacobs, Andrade and Deveryanchenko??? So you think Lemieux beats those guys? lol
Post prime does not equal shot. Roy is shot, Zab was shot, N'dam looks like he may shot, Juan Ma is shot, Gamboa is shot. There's a long list of shot fighters that you can point to...........Golovkin ain't that.
I don’t think so, not at all. What many of us need to acknowledge is that he took heavy punishment by Canelo Alvarez. Even Pavlik said that the series took years off from GGG. I think GGG will be more fresh at a 168. Ring Rust should be welcomed, and Rolls was a tougher fight than Brandon Adams.
No, there's a big difference between being past prime and shot. Golovkin is certainly not in his prime anymore. In fact I think it's been a couple years since his prime ended. But shot means that he's completely done as a top level fighter and that's not the case yet.
it would be stupid for someone to have just met their first elite to be shot. Facing elite is what you do in your prime, or perhaps in a few cases itsa cash in
