Canelo ducking Golovkin after a poor performance against Jacobs?

    Earn his shot? He lost his titles in a controversial manner. That has been typically enough to warrant a rematch.

    I mean GGGs fight with Jacobs was highly controversial but he told Jacobs to kick rocks and earn his spot. Why doesn’t he rematch Jacobs winner gets Canelo? There’s absolutely no excuse for him fighting Rolls and expecting Canelo right after fight someone who matters first. And I never side with fishnets but he’s right

    Perhaps Joshua should have to “earn his shot” at a Ruiz rematch as well, then.

    Here's the thing, when 3G and Jacobs fought, 3G was seen as the champion. Jacobs wasn't. He was just a contender w/ a title. And while the fight w/ canelo involved what many saw as the lineal title held by Canbelo, 3G still held all the belts.

    Sure, Jacobs lost a close fight. But it wasn't controversial like the Alvarez fights were.

    To me, these two points are the main differences. I sure as hell wouldn't complain if 3G fought DJ again though.
