I'm a huge fan of the G-Man and Roy, Roy bein my fav of course. One thing alot of people aren't mentioning is that Roy fought and beat MUCH better opponents than the G-Man. G-man's biggest wins where against Julian Jackson and Mugabi, the only other top fighter he fought was Benn and we all know what happened :verysad . The biggest issue G-Man would have had with Roy is that he wasn't a very good technical boxer even sometimes got sloppy. G-Mans defense was also not that great. Roy more than likely would have landed at will and in Roy's prime McClellans right hand don't get near Roy's chin.

This thread is proof that Gerald is one of the most overrated fighters on this board, even though he was exciting as you could ask for to watch.

Jones would've sparked him early- Gerald got hit too easily, Roy's the naturally bigger man, and Roy was just all around better- better defense and counterpunching, better use of angles, and a smarter fighter in the ring. My guess is that Gerald jumps in with some sloppy **** around the 3rd or 4th round, and Roy counters the **** out of him and ends it there.

Why is he still boxing if he's afraid to get hit? :deal
