James McKenzie Morrison and Brandon Carmack back on August 16th in seperate bouts. Both have talent. Despite his weight Brandon can hit and have fast hands and he knows boxing fundamentals well. Mckenzie on other hand is fit and powerfull and have some good boxing basics from his father and training.
I think we can expect less than 800 k viewership from FOX PPV for Ruiz/Joshua fight. Joshua isn't that popular in US and Ruiz Jr as well, so 800 k would be maximum for this PPV.
“There are discussions for White Hart Lane, Wembley and Cardiff,” said Hearn to IFL TV about potential venues in the UK for the Joshua vs. Ruiz 2 rematch. “I think AJ likes the Wembley fight. He’s had a lot of good nights there, but November, the weather is not the best potentially. I don’t know if Andy Ruiz likes it in the rain,” said Hearn.
Joyce/Jennings and Gorman/Dubois is the worst promotion of fights for some time. Fighters didn't promote their fights, they just sat there and didn't move a vocal cord to sell their fights, terrible. They will never do good viewership numbers with promotion like this. Joyce don't have character to sell fights and Dubois doesn't have it either. Too bad, bad for their future purses.
Joyce is being fast tracked to world title shot but one have to ask how much dmaage he will obsorb if he keeps facing contenders all the time. I know he is not young but still. Damage to his head will slow him down in title fights. I'm doubtfull that Joyce will be a PPV star because of his character but most likely will be a champion. I think he can unify the division.
