He’s a great talker. A lot of it might be garbage, contradictory or whatever but he can’t half sell himself. I got mocked by Hayers for saying it last time but he does transcend boxing in his appeal.

Regardless of the crap he comes out with, he is incredibly engaging and hard to stop listening to. Which I find incredibly rare in sport.

Considering the way he boxes (which is a nightmare to market to the casuals) he is incredibly popular - you have to put that down to the man himself.

The foreign commentary is far superior than listening to the creepy butt plugs sky put on!!

And a better clearer uninterrupted viewing experience as well I might add!!!

Daily reminder that he got put on the deck, twice, by a guy weighing 209 lbs. Wilder at 220+ is going to punch him through the ropes.

All the ranking are b.s and AJs loss proves it.

Wilder has fought 2 top 10 guys and fury has fought 2 top 10 guys yet they are top. And 1 of those ended in a draw.

Until all these top 10 guys fight each other the ranking don't mean anything.

Boxing should be like any other sport where the top 10 fight each other twice and we see who's on top after all that

    Its all cherry picking hype

AJ is 4th but he's been in with Vlad, Ruiz, povetkin, Parker, whyte, takam. Ok he has a loss but he's been in with much better guys than the ones in front of him. Load of rubbish just look at schwarz and breazeales rankings

Fury now claiming Wilder didn’t hurt him:

"Does Deontay Wilder have anything to bother me? Nothing at all.

"I've been hurt 1,000 times but Wilder didn't hurt me once. He hit me in the back of the head, scrambled my senses and the last knockdown was a touch of sleep but didn't hurt me. Those same punches that caught me then are not going to touch me when I'm match fit.“

But are Takam (2017) and Whyte (2015 version) better than Chisora (2011 and 2014) ?
I have reason to think not.

    Probably true.
    He never looked hurt.
He went down hard and got up and fought back hard.

I've been saying similar all along too, whether people like AJ or not, you can't argue with who he's fought, especially in the time frame. Look at where Wilder was after 20 fights, where Fury was, it just doesn't compare.

On a sidenote, Chisora deserves a mention, yes he has a lot of losses but look who he has fought, there is a man who doesn't duck anyone, he might not be the best, the most intelligent, the most likeable, but the man will go in with anyone.

#1 spot should be vacant as there's no clear #1 at moment. Fury hasn't beaten anyone in the current top 10 so can't be #1 much as i think he is clearly the most talented boxer.

Might be some truth in that to be fair. The immediate reaction to both knock downs didn't look like a man terribly hurt.

Talking alot of **** is a big part of boxing and Fury does it very well, I mean Muhammed Ali would not be remembered to this day if he didn't talk so much ****...
