I'm sure you're right.Has anyone ever seen Fury deviate from his tactics?I'm not knocking him for it but his talk of knocking folk out is so at odds with the way he fights.

Could easily go 12 although I suspect Fury wins by corner retirement.

Early on in his career, his fights were exciting, he came to fight. He would get dropped, get back up and KO his opponent. I suppose going life and death with a couple of average opponents made him use his boxing skills more. I remember the Chisora rematch as a turning point. He's mostly boxed from then on. Problem is when he boxes, he usually stinks the joint out. Don't think that's how he'll want this showcase to turn out. Maybe he boxes for a round or two, then I think he'll go for the stoppage.

Fury hurt Wilder on more than one occasion. I understand that Wilder has a questionable chin, but you still need pop to hurt someone.
Fury is a big lad with a lot of weight behind him. If he can string shots together on smaller fighters, there is nothing stopping him from stopping smaller opponents.

The fact he knows how to use his weight against smaller fighters, he should have no trouble stopping Schwarz between 8-12...

In short, yes, Fury is pillow fisted. But that doesn't mean that he can't stop fighters. You don't have to rely on one punch power to stop fighters, especially at heavyweight.

This is definitely a brutal KO for Fury unless Schwarz just flops down and quits.

Fury is scamming the boxing public by fighting someone as poor as Schwarz.

It’s a waste of everyone’s time who wants to see the best face the best.

There are atleast 40 HWs out there who would have made a better fight

When Fury brawls he KO's people. But if you want to see why he stopped doing that for the most part, go watch a fighter naturally smaller than anyone who KD'd Fury drop AJ four times for the TKO. Ruiz is probably under 6ft and could make LH or less without the obesity. When you exchange you risk getting clipped and after a certain point they all hit hard enough to do damage if they hit you in the right place. Fans tend to forget this until upsets remind them again.

Saunders also reminded everyone of this principle the last fight. As skilled as he is, as good as his chin is, he got caught exchanging too aggressively, something he rarely does, and almost paid a big price for it. He was easily winning the fight and if he'd had a lesser chin he might have been KO'd by that no name.
