he is erratic that's for sure, I'd never want to guess what the guy does. he was saying stuff like he hopes he gets chinned the other day which is the kind of thing he was saying before the Wlad rematch. I think pressure does get to him but his antics cover it up. I said it before but I do wonder how his mindset will be for the Wilder rematch, he seems better as the underdog, now a lot of people expect him to win that fight I think it will spook him a bit?
Fury cherrypicked this bloke from a catalogue. 7th best German and not even in the top 50. People listening to Fury’s rubbish about it being a close fight is laughable
Fury disappoints again coming in 6lbs heavier than in his fight with Deontay instead of 6lbs lighter. What about those weird looking second set of ass cheeks he's developed? You'd think that getting rid of those would be his first priority.
His KO highlights vs. Hamm and Egger don’t impress. Plodding, slow guy with Jurassic hand speed who habitually drops his left every time he throws his right.
Tom ‘no mas’ Schwarz already knows, and has already agreed to the script. Fury is fat but this is just the USA replay of Fury v Seferi.
After the AJ-Ruiz fight I'm not writing anyone off in a HW fight again especially with Fury's conditioning (or lack of).
6' 9'' Fury weighs almost exactly the same as 6 foot (and a bit) Ruiz, who is also fat. He seemed to do okay against a ripped Adonis....
If Schwarz wasnt a complete utter bum and complete no hoper, then Fury being slightly out of shape again could be relevant. But the opponent is of a level that isnt going to cause any problems. He is going to lay down like a lady of the night.
Is he 6ft 9 though ?? He looks more 6ft 7, shorter than Price who's 6ft 8..Sorry to split hairs but to me hes a defo 6ft 7
Yeah, fair point - I thought someone would rightly point that out. They all BS about height. Which makes me think about reach. Does someone go around measuring arm span of boxers? I've heard a few boxers say they have never been measured. My point stands though, Fury is a lot taller then Ruiz and will weigh the same in this fight as Ruiz did against AJ. A fight in which he moved better than Mr 7% body fat. We're at the dawn of a new age in HW boxing The Super(fat) Heavyweights...
Oh I agree with your point, its just if he's 6ft 9 then Price who's height has always been recorded at 6ft 8 must be really 6ft 10/11 lol
Whether he is 6'7 or 6'9, Fury is a massive unit, a few pounds more than against Wilder isn't a big factor in my opinion for this fight, now if he continues to gain few pounds in each subsequent fight then yes can see it as a issue.
A meaningless thing. I doubt Fury did anything more than a weeks training, more so to look in a semi respected condition for the weigh in presentation rather than performance. Schwarz is a Mark ''learn to box through youtube' De mori level of opponent. Combined with the fact he's being paid to have a laugh in the ring with Fury, whilst making show, as if he wishes to win.
