harold was never involved in snoozers. his tactical battle with ezz charles turned into a ferocious fight, his title fight with A moore was very exciting. Harold was quite active for his type of style.

Harold was far more skilled, and fully modernized. Such is not the case for Jack based on film, not at all compared to Harold, who is textbook precise by any standards.

Harold Johnson was a purists delight ,but not a fans,.he was a defensive counterpuncher, and was involved in few barn burners.Likewise the bigger, stronger Jack, who loafed his way through fights.Result a snoozer!

Maybe so, but Johnson hit harder, and had top end hand speed. Someone would have to lead in this fight. I get the in sense that Harold would do well early, and Jack would do well late.

I go with Jack by decsion.

I concur. Harold was more sophisticated and had a modernised style, things that Jack had never seen. However, if it goes 25 rounds with a lot of wrestling allowed, small gloves, etc, then you gotta favor Jack's advantage in stamina, strength and size to make the difference sooner or later.
