I found it very interesting from a technical perspective. But maybe I watch boxing for different reasons than you.

 

Mayweather fights totally different to this. For one Mayweather almost always makes his opponent pay for when he makes them miss.

And actually go out and watch Mayweather in his first title fight, watch the intent he fought with to take home that first belt.

Against Maidana he did spoil a bit, and he certainly wasn't considered a genius, in fact many people had the fight a draw or had Maidana winning. The rounds were Floyd negatively spoiled, he lost.

Can you find even one post on the whole site calling his game plan against Maidana in the first "genius"

 

Yeah I watch boxing to see people punch each other. Not to see people hold each other.
