Nothing that Fury has done is as impressive as what Ruiz did

Still just an opinion lol, but I feel the strongest about that matchup than any of the other potential top level ones. Styles make fights, and Fury is a bad one for Ruiz.

I like Ruiz and think he's given us an awesome story, but the Gypsy King would slam that fairy tale storybook closed.

Yea right. The last guy he'd want to fight is Ruiz.

I want to see Jnr fight Fury. Right now I can't see Fury losing, too elusive and long.

If beating Wlad in Germany doesn't count for much, what does it mean when a guy can't beat Joseph Parker on the road?

That's like saying Horn straight up beat Pac, ignoring the robbery.

It'd be a replay of the Chisora fights.

Plenty of people pegged Chisora to win both times, too. Tyson would pick Ruiz apart.

You sound like a ****ing casual. Boxing is far more than getting KD or scoring KOs.

And you don't think Germany was eager to rob Tyson?

Ruiz fought a close fight and got the short end of the stick. Tyson fought a better fighter and didn't leave any room for doubt.

Pedantic and pathetic thread. Fury literally just proved tonight, I think a bit out of spite for AJ, that he can move, change styles, box, avoid, and bang.

They'd win about the same number of rounds vs Fury, frankly.

What Ruiz achieved is great and I'm sure anybody with sense isn't knocking him, or calling him out for a lack of any soul or guts. Stupid thread.

Because he spent half his career pretty much hungover or pissed lol.. There's plenty of interviews & documentaries on his career that explain it all. Wilder fight he wasn't exactly match fit for either was he? He was soft & lacking in high level competition & one was arguably a rabbit punch anyway..

If he's firing on all cylinders & switched on he's a master. Not even arguable now. That he's been dropped doesn't alter that.. I've never seen the likes of him, that size of man, so nuanced & multi layered.. moving like that.

4 times he's been dropped.. all that matters is he gets up!

Byrd & Walcott were defensive masters at HW, guess what? They got dropped too..

Permell whitaker was dropped way more than Fury btw
