The WBA and WBC are in talks to unify those titles by having Wilder and Ruiz meet instead of Ruiz having a rematch with AJ, is this right do fans feel or should Ruiz give AJ a rematch because of their clause in the contract?
No way, I have to see the rematch, it will be epic and would set up a fight between Wilder and the winner brilliantly.
I have next to zero interest in Ruiz Jr coming to the UK and getting his pants pulled down in a rematch vs AJ. I have more interest in a Ruiz Jr vs Wilder fight for all the belts, then they face AJ or Fury to be the King. If the Ruiz Jr - AJ rematch does come off, then it needs to be in the USA. I would like the following: Ruiz JR- Wilder AJ- Fury The winners face each other to be king.
Haymon controls the heavyweight division, NOT Hearns. You guys in the UK have spent years berating Wilder. You thought it was funny when Joshua and AD said they were going to freeze Wilder out. Boy has things changed. All that A side nonsense you guys have been regurgitating was knocked the **** out the Window in Madison square Garden. Like Tyson Fury said, Jushua should stick to body building and leave boxing to the fighting men. That means Not trying to interfering in what will bring an absolute clarity in the heavyweight division since Lewis vs Holyfield 20 years ago.
Not right...why didn't they do this when Joshua had the title? No, Ruiz should be a man of his word and honor the contract and the WBC & WBA should let the chips fall where they may. The IBF, who is the strictest of the ABC body is letting the rematch take place so what does that tell you.
Wilder with all the belts would be horrendous. He wouldn’t touch a top ten fighter for the rest of his career
This out right proves to me that A) wilder thinks AJ will beat Ruiz in a rematch so wants to get in there first B) wilder was actively ducking AJ Surely the logical step is to let that rematch play out and let the chips fall where they may. If Andy wins then it's a huge fight. Still be big if Joshua wins the rematch too
I really don't care who Ruiz fights next, but I have to say, if he fights Wilder and mops him up I will LMFAO.
