Yes but cmon Fury was not known for his power, he was expected to outbox him over 12 rounds. He performed way better than expected
Fury at 263 is still the most athletic heavyweight around. At 263 still moves better then any other heavyweight, switching stances and angles and lightening head movement without breaking a sweat. The best heavyweight on the planet. A fat man.
I said before the fight that Tom Schwarz is a De mori DIY boxer, who was there to lay down. He offered nothing. An everlast punchbag provides more resistance.
Same thing he did to Chisora and Wlad. He hits deceptively hard. Busts people up and breaks their spirit.
Wilder and Fury are complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Wilder sets and launches into every single punch to take your head off. Fury is more a stand up straight throwback and lots of his punches are just touches and arm punches. If he can keep Wilder moving and off balance, it will be a long night for Deontay. Really looking forward to this one being made. Its really very intriguing with them both being heavier too.
I'm sure if he read these comments about his eating and physique he would be very upset to the extent that he would not be able to enjoy the easy fight and his payday. He would hide in his Vegas suite and cry.
I hope that's not how reacts to his fans wanting to see him at his best. I don't think Fury is overly concerned by what we think.
The only thing that was proven last night is Fury can look good at 263 pounds vs someone like Schwartz. I was wrong to assume Schwartz could take a punch. Fury looked like he hurt him jab. As I said in another post, Fury is good, but please no more bottom shelf tomato cans for title fights. Schwartz was ranked in the 50's at box rec going into this fight. Now he's at #67 with 6 other German heavyweightsin from of him. So Fury beat the 7th best German heavyweight last night with ease. That's my post fight breakdown, how did I do?
