I am a big fan of Warrington over last couple of years and my stream went off after 9 rounds last night but i thought Galahad Andre Warded him...tied him up inside and kept him guessing on the outside

It was close last night but Josh did deserve to nick it.
All the guys that are saying galahad won wide and was robbed, all I can say is kid and his team didn't agree with that, they knew at the final bell that they hadn't done enough to clearly win. It was written all over them, They never said in the press conference after, that they thought they won. And Dom said in an interview that it was close a point either way.
Barry was effective in spoiling but had no effective agression., he didn't do enough and he never made Josh pay for his mistakes. Potshot, bend at the waist and fall in, is a risky strategy to go and win a title, and that is all kid did all night.

That was joshs worst performance in all his fights, I don't think it was galahad that took it away from him I think it was Josh that let it slip away from himself. He said after, that he let things get to him.
    That was one horrible fight.

Galahad made Bernard Hopkins look like Gatti.

    Correct decision.

I was warmed by the post fight presser and the graciousness showed by Warrington in victory and Galahad and Ingle in defeat. I really hope Galahad doesn’t get put into the who needs him club because he fought intelligently last night. He doesn’t normally clinch like that and that was clearly a game plan specifically to nullify Warrington on the inside. It was an intelligent boxing display from Galahad.

You’ll probably know how I scored it, but I accept that perhaps it’s more about what you’re looking for which was demonstrated by the significant swing from Gray’s scorecard compared to Foster’s...along with how different posters saw it on here.

I've noticed a big swing in opinions and at the end of the day it's subjective and what one person likes the other person may not but that doesn't mean that they don't know how to score fights. Bending at the waist and falling in isn't my idea of defence but some argue it is, so each to their own.
For me tho, it's wrong to say galahad was robbed, kid and Dom called it as they saw it. It could of gone either way, I too agree with that but I did have Josh winning but if it had of gone against him I would not of called robbery. We all know what a robbery is and last night wasn't one.
I'm not sure that the clinching was all inteligent game plan as you suggested. As Dom said to him, in the championship rds ,"you have to go out and take this now, you need to land more shots" and nothing changed.
I think the clinching was part of the plan but kid used it far more than Dom would of liked. He didn't want to fight at all 20. He chose the safest option. Even naz said," you can't go and win a title like that.'
    Anyhow it's all done now.
Not the fight I was hoping for but I'm sure Josh will learn from his mistakes.

He admitted that the post fight antics affected him. You defended him constantly, you said they would not and made out it was all part of his plan.
From the outside looking in he perhaps needs some calmer influences around him. His Dad was not one at the weigh-in.
And, like Big Josh, I think he needs to get rid of some bottom lickers.

    Galahad won the fight.

We might not like him, but by the book he won that.

All this you need to take a world title is nonsense, once the bell goes there's no world champ, world titles should be judged the same as any other fight.

    Was disappointed in Warrington.

    But kg won the fight

I’m a sucker for a fighter who can nullify a dangerous opponent with his footwork, ring IQ, switching stances etc, mate. I did find the excessive holding frustrating although at the same time I felt Warrington couldn’t figure him out and was a little one dimensional in his attacks which invariably led him to him getting a nice cuddle off Kid. He’ll have learned more from that fight than the Selby & Frampton fight’s combined. Onwards and upwards mate

There you go again doofus. He said regardless of what happened through the week, I let it get to me on the night. What that means is that what happened through the week didn't affect him. He then informed us, that on the night he got too carried away about thinking about going to usa and unifyng.and he let that get to him.

I hear what your saying. But i dont necessarily agree. I do think Josh worked it out but he couldn't overcome his impulses which caused the mental block, he seemed to have throughout the 12 rds.
I thought that at the end of the fight, and then some interviews I've seen since, Josh confirmed, that he could see what to do but couldn't do it.. That's why I said in my second post back," I don't think it was galahad that took it away from him, it was Josh that let it slip away from himself."
I do agree that there is potential there to learn more from this than Selby and Frampton combined.
