God I know-a monolith of the sport. He was a venerable grand-master when I started following and watching Boxing as a boy. I'd like to say that was years ago, but alas for me , was a few decades ago. Bob is a legendary fight figure alright.

The last 3 words are capitalised, which suggests C&P.....God knows from what;.... Oscar Wilde?

He’s trying to build up Tyson’s brand in the US... Espn really was pushing Fury a lot all weekend to.

Relaxing & Enjoying are peasant goals & an unimportant side effect for a boxing Elite like Bob Arum

Peasants have the obvious biological limitation hence the selfish short time plans, Elites are immortal...long after Peasants of Arum generation are recycled....Arum will continue to influence human evolution

Bob is so old he's actually younger now than he was back then. I don't think that makes any kind of sense at all but I'm sure if I was as old as Bob it would lol

The thing about Bob is that he is excellent at building a fighter, even if that means taking very little risks in their matchmaking. Look at the boxers Top Rank has brought through in the last few decades, yes we sometimes have to watch them crush a few cans but in the end he steps them up at the right time generally.

It's down to Whyte to beat Rivas, and then watch Fury DUCK DUCK DUCK Whyte.

Personally think Whyte should pursue AJ/Wilder first (more), but they will duck too.

Reports are saying Fury's next opponent is Big Baby Miller.
