    Good match up.

I'm thinking that Sergio would find his spot and finish matters.

Sneaky match up this one. Don’t be fooled. Sergio is the bigger man here. Taller plus the reach is in his favour. Add to that the speed and busy southpaw style I see Sergio winning on points. But if Sergio gets Terry buzzed he would finish the fight. Terry has to be very smart as Sergio has the hand speed to counter him all night. I see a close fight early but the bigger man winning those late rounds very handily and the fight being less and less competitive.

Sergio by the decision. Sergio was very quick. He blossomed as a middle weight though.

Norris whups his ass. Martinez might have been a bit more athletically gifted, but Terry was MUCH better technically and would expose Martinez's many technical flaws.

No speed advantage to either fighter here. Norris has the better skills and is away
ahead on pts and goes for the ko before being hit by a huge Sergio counter and
is counted out in the 11 rd.

Norris was an excellent Boxer with speed and an awesome Left hook, he wins by UD or TKO!

I would put my money on a prime Norris. I like Sergio but Terry was down right scary good in his prime. Excellent combination puncher.

Got me scratching my head with this one.

Martinez was fast - very fast, in fact. But Norris was like greased lightning, could maintain a great pace and high volume for the full twelve rounds, was light on his toes and was good at not allowing his opponent to get set as they tried to pin him down. A very, very difficult guy to outpoint.

Martinez was also fleet of foot and while not as athletically blessed as Norris probably had a slightly bigger bag of tricks from a technical point of view (some of his spins and pivots were fantastic) as he spent his career honing his skills slowly but surely, as opposed to Norris who always seemed to fight on instinct and rely on his raw speed and power. Martinez has a notional southpaw advantage (some good fighters really struggled to deal with that unusual left hand lead down the pipe which he threw with his hands coming from such a low position) and was a bit more patient than Norris when it came to finding that perfect punch. And that's the thing with Norris - you'll always get that chance against him eventually, and with his slightly tender chin that's a concern for him here.

I think it's a great matchup and both guys can win - but I don't think Martinez can win by decision, and I don't think Norris can win it by stoppage. So it's all about whether Martinez can walk Norris on to one of those devastating and sharp counters of his. Gun to my head, assuming Norris has his head screwed on and brings the kind of form he showed against Castro and Brown (rematch), I'd tentatively go with him to box his way to a safety-points first win, using his speed and ambush style to accumulate rounds and forcing Martinez to change his game and come after him a little. But there's not much in it. Great fantasy matchup.

Norris. Martinez wasn't really at his best until 160.

Hard to pick a clear winner here.

I can see Norris winning but I do doubt that the mental side of his game. Would it hold up for him long enough to box his way patiently to the win?

He did it when he had to against Simon Brown so he is capable but then Martinez flattened a more durable fighter in Paul Willams so if Sergio could sneak a counter onto Norris's chin...

I'm going Norris, but with some reservation.

Would be good to have a poll with this one.
