Jirov would take him out. Too big.

Leaning towards Foster. Bob could really hit.

    Foster.

No problems with that defense and head movement. There isn't any. Throw at 12 o'clock and he's right there to be hit. Jirov would need to get a crash course in the art of feinting to avoid getting clipped. His feint game was probably on par with his defensive capabilities and this is the wrong opponent for those traits and fatal flaws.

    Bob Foster's record above 175:
    Tko loss to Doug Jones
    Decision loss to Mauro Mena
    Ko loss to Ernie Terrel
    Decision loss to Zora Folley
Put in orbit by Joe Frazier
    Ko loss to Ali
    Tko loss to Bob Hazelton

And he beat Roger Rouse, Henry Hank, and a handful of trial horses.

His record above 175 shits on Foster’s record above 175 and he was competitive in any losing efforts. To suggest otherwise stinks of agenda.

That isn’t true. He beat ranked cruisers who aren’t well known.

Also he won the Val Barker Award and had the great fight with Toney so he’s legit in my book.

    Foster just wasn’t a cruiser.

One Ring ranked cruiser Arthur Williams no 6.
Toney beat him handily, even flooring him along the way.
Jirov was a decent fighter ,Foster was a great one.

Foster. Both aggressive, skilled, but Foster has power that would affect Jirov.

    Foster decision, possible late stoppage.

Dale Brown and Jorge Castro were also ranked.

You don’t want to compute that Foster was practically a journeyman above 175.

Not when Jirov fought them.If Toney could drop Jirov Foster could ko him.Jirov was a come forward guy without much defense ,or head movement, not a good idea against Foster.
