On Carls terms of course... Belfast venue, small purse for KG etc. KG is a one trick pony. Overcome his spoiling tactics and you've got him beat. With a proper ref enforcing the rules (ably assisted by a Belfast crowd booing the roof off the arena to encourage him to deduct points etc), Grabahead would be deducted points, forced to fight, and there would only be one outcome. Kid Clinchaholic can't hurt Carl, his low punch output can't stop Carl...a cerebral boxer like Carl would figure out the Kid fairly easily and pick him apart. Decisively beating the guy who many feel beat Warrington puts Carl back in contention big time. Good idea, maybe?
What are you talking about? Back in contention? We already know he has a gimme fight in August and then Valdez in Nov/Dec. Thanks to Arum he is already back in contention. Terrible thread.
When you're around boxing as long as I am certain things will become apparent to you, son. For example nothing in boxing is certain. Valdez might never face frampton, or even never fight at 126 again. Then Arum will happily throw frampton in with shakur or someone else very unsuitable for Carl in a heartbeat.
Galahad isn't a good next move for Frampton. Needs an easy tune up after the last fight and that puts him right in the shop window. Frampton still has a name that has value and will get another title shot.
It would put him Right in line for a rematch with Warrington. Winnable fight for Carl, knowing what he ...and we...now know about Josh.

I've explained. That of course....of course... A great champion like Carl would not ordinarily lower himself to associate with a no-fans drug cheat loser. But tactically it might be a good move. KG couldn't refuse. He has no other option. He's going nowhere anyway.
Galahad beats Frampton at this stage and I wouldn't like to see that happen personally. Rather Frampton retired than see him beat by the likes of Kid Galahad.
Fully aware of that and fully aware that Stevenson beats him when they box. I have said on a previous thread that he has been signed as an opponent for him and Conlan, (who by the way is bang average I’m afraid to say). The Valdez fight will happen, he’s not going to 130 until next year.
Not a good idea. Although I think Kid is a good fighter his style will just stink the place out. Carl needs exciting bouts, big money.
How does he beat him? Kid grabahead has no power and throws....at most ... a one-two. With a proper ref to deal with the spoiling, in a Belfast arena, I dont see Carl Losing. An Irish or US ref won’t stand for what KG did against Warrington.
