    Castro was 10. Weathers was 3. Brown was 9 or 10.

    Toney would have his way with Foster at 190+ with same day weigh ins too.

    Brown was briefly no 10, that is correct .No record of Jirov ever fighting Weathers.Toney isn't fighting Foster, Jirov is.

    Foster by ko , probably in the latter round s , Bob dictate s the fight with his jab , keeping Jirov always behind on the cards.
    The ko would come literally out of the blue and Vass wouldn't know what hit him ..

    *Williams

    I’m not sure why you’re so resistant to Foster not being a cruiserweight. I spelled it out very clearly with his resume.

    I've already said Williams was rated you said Weathers, here is your post.

    "Weathers was 3".Ive never suggested Foster was a cruiserweight what I say he was was an alltime great lhvy and Jirov was never more than a good cruiser. Now I've spent enough time on this,Just one parting shot, apart from you has anyone else picked Jirov to win this?

    This forum contains a few old farts who look back fondly of his career and a bunch of people who enjoy his highlight reels on YouTube.

    He was the top light heavy of a weak era and useless above 175. Jirov landed over 400 punches on Toney and would enter the ring at over 200 pounds. This is an easy pick.

    A pick that no one other than you has made, so they must be old farts? Oh, okay , don't bother with me in the future, because I sure won't be bothering with you.

    What bothers you is that I laid out his poor Foster was over 175 and you don’t like it. You don’t like the results of a series of boxing matches that occurred in his career so you disregard them.

    Jirov and that horrible defense of his. So saying Foster cannot move up 1 weight division, meanwhile;

    Toney former middle beats Jirov and puts him on the canvas. Castro was another former middle & didn't he even fight Norris at 154? What happened to Jirov when he fought the former lh Moorer?

    And yet we have Foster criticized for fighting a guy like Muhammad Ali--for no title.

    So when exactly was Jirov testing himself against the heavies when he was a cruiser? I must have missed the Lennox bout. Don't recall details on a Tyson fight. Commander Vander. Cannot even remember him taking on the Tua's or Brewster's of the world.

    That liver punch is the wrong thing to throw against Bob Foster. He'll come right over the top and the opponent won't see it. You cannot leave big windows open against the rarest of breeds===1 punch ko power in both hands. I also think Foster lands that jab of his anytime he throws it against that defense. Coming forward with zero head movement against Foster requires a guy to slip punches like a Duran to take the impact off. Or to feint even. The guy did neither but came in aggressively in a straight line.

    I'm not even sure that works against Kovalev or a Mike Spinks. I think Jirov and that defense would be fortunate to be 1-1. At cruiser, Holyfield chews him up and spits him out.

    He can get by the Rickey Parkey's of the world but a bad defense becomes a huge issue even against the likes of a David Haye.
