What is it with them. All the travellers I remember, I only remember Henry Wharton with any stopping power. Some wonderful boxing ability. Why don't they bang?
Which traveller fighters would you say lacked power, mate? I’m generalising, but it’s a culture that prides itself on its boxing ability which isn’t all about how much power they carry but about all their fundamentals including their footwork. It’s about hit and not getting hit so they tend to throw as they’re stepping off so they don’t get countered. That means that they don’t plant their feet. That would be my explanation.
Tyson obviously, but Hughie the skirt, Phill Fury, BJS, Tommy Fury, John McDermott, Billy and Ernie Smith. Gomez seemed to buck the trend, never a dull fight with him.
Ah, you’ve ignored my explanation and have just starting a thread to have a pop at travellers. Got it.
Where's the pop at the travellers. No derogatory terms used, I asked a question as to the power of the boxers from that community and praised the skills and strengths I've seen.
