AJ needs to suck it up. Not a good sign for a successful comeback.

 

Sepiroth, you lady-boy, who have finally said something sensible. There is nothing wrong with AJ having a few confidence builders. Sadly, I don't think the powers that be will let him.

 

1. Ruiz was supposed to be easy.
2. Fury's last fight was Wilder.

 

Wow, that's not a good sign at all. Joshua is a boxing celebrity not a true champion. He should retire.

 

Anybody who makes 25 million dollars a fight and asks "Why am I doing this?" deserves to be slapped like a *****. You were fighting top ten fighters because you are being paid elite level money. End of conversation. You want to take a pay cut and make what everybody else in your division makes then you go ahead and fight nobodies. Go live the Kubrat Pulev or Adam Kownacki lifestyle for a few years.

Reason number two, you said you were the best and you had to prove it. Well, after you get your belts back from Ruiz you still have to beat Wilder and Fury to prove you are the best. You wanted the belts that came with the money and the fame, fighting tough opposition comes with all that. Stop being a whiner. Champions back in the day used to fight dozens of top ten ranked guys. You've only fought like seven.

1. AJ has fought better opposition than Wilder

Biggest names:
- Wladimir Klitschko - Lost to Fury, would beat Ortiz and Breazeale
- Alexander Povetkin - Would lose to Fury, would beat Ortiz and Breazeale
- Joseph Parker - Would lose to Fury, would beat Ortiz and Breazeale
- Dillian Whyte - Would lose to Fury, would beat Ortiz and Breazeale

*fought Andy Ruiz as a replacement opponent on short notice - Who is also better than all of Wilders resume, bar Ortiz

2. Fury has fought better opposition than Wilder

Biggest names:
- Wladimir Klitschko - Would beat Ortiz
- Derek Chisora - Would go life and death with Ortiz
- Deontay Wilder - Went life and death with Ortiz

*fought Wilder after a long layoff and huge weightloss

3. Wilder is the one who continues to fight easy opposition

Biggest names:
- Tyson Fury
- Luis Ortiz - Would lose to Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, Klitschko and Fury
- Dominic Breazeale (Paper defence. Absolutely nothing to gain in this fight. Lost to Joshua in 2016)



Look at the above and try and tell me that Wilder has had the strongest title defenses?
1. He lost to Fury
2. He was out on his feet against the plodder Ortiz
3. His biggest win is a draw that came via robbery

 

Worth noting, Ortiz, Breazeale and Fury were meant to be easy fights for 'the biggest puncher in boxing history'.

Ortiz - Went life and death, was out on his feet against the slowest puncher in the top 15
Breazeale - Leftovers from AJ in 2016. Got rid of him in 1 round, but got shook from a single shot within that 1 round.
Fury - Even with a huge layoff, Wilder lost to Fury but had to win via robbery

Joshua telling it like it is. Fury's last three wins have been a cruiserweight ranked 41st and two heavyweights ranked outside the top 50. But lets not stop that from hailing him as the best Heavyweight ever.

 

The catch is, the Schwartz display fight was only possible because Fury beat Wilder and made a huge impact already.

It's quite amazing how FURY TAKING THE WILDER FIGHT is being gradually erased from history.

Let's get one thing straight. And this is an absolute fact:

Tyson Fury taking the Wilder fight in America, not fully fit, against the recommendations of his team, was a more difficult and dangerous challenge than anything AJ has ever agreed to.
