I wonder where he would be now if he didn't take that stupid GGG fight, imo probably at the top still
say what you like, i would like to see Brook fight Khan and both retire afterwards Make it a 'to the death' fight
I thought he’d at least bow out in a domestic against khan or beefy. Who knows what’s going in in sparring though, perhaps the eye is still a problem Good luck to him
Never reached his full potential which is a shame, but has still had a good career. I wonder where he'd be now if he fought Jessie Vargas as originally planned instead of Golovkin. I'm another of the minority who still wants to see him fight Khan. I know it wouldn't have any relevance to the landscape of the division, but I still want to see them settle their differences in the ring.
I don't get this idea of a shot fighter, admittedly his last fight was underwhelming and he performed badly but that was one fight, he knocked out Rabchenko in 2 previously to that which is what a fighter of Brooks ability should do with a Rabchenko level opponent. We didn't start saying Billie Joe Saunders was shot when he scrapped past Akavov. Fighters can have bad performance people. I suspect this talk comes from the anti matchroom people who frankly are as just as embarrassing (if not more) than the matchroom and AJ fan boys.
Brook took the opportunities in boxing that were presented to him. He was right to do it because with all the politics and variables you don't know when/if another one will come round. I'd watch the Khan fight although if he does retire Khan would have won and maybe it's the only way he can win that fight.
