Not sure how that is relevant to him continuing fighting. My point is losing two fights doesn't mean the end. Its a long road back but no fighter should quit after losing twice to the same guy.
Joshua will be just as anxious for a date so he can head off to Dubai for some warm weather training and build himself up again.
I personally think he retires if he loses, he has made plenty of cash, and has a lot going on for him outside of the boxing ring, but still in boxing and sports. He could be very succesful doing other things. But he lost so BADLY the first time round, that if he loses the rematch, no matter how he loses he would have been demoralised beyond repair, and his invincibility would be even further reduced in the eyes of the fans, and fellow contenders. Hearn knows just how bad a loss on the rematch would be.... and it's clear, AJ must win to repair any damage from June 1st.
If he wins against Ruiz in a KO or UD it's back to business as usual. Probably go onto the likes of Pulev then maybe a unification if the powers at be are willing. If it's a close win against Ruiz he'll be matched very carefully for at least 3 fights before a possible cash out against Fury / Windmill. If it's a loss to Ruiz he'll go onto the i'm a celebrity here me out of here circuit. Can't see him having the grit and desire to fight his way back from that.
Id be more interested to see what Hearn does with him as if he loses the rematch you could argue he would be of little use to hearn anymore.
I give Andy a good shot at beating wilder but it's not a given by any means. I think he would lose to fury almost certainly. Ruiz is very good. It's a gamble fighting him again right away but its also a gamble not, if AJ really believes he can beat him with some adjustments then he doesnt want wilder getting in there first and possibly stealing all the titles away for good. With wilder or fury in power, he might never get another shot. I think Ruiz has a very real shot at outboxing and beating wilder which would be a great result for AJ but obviously deontay could very well put Andy's lights out.
If he loses, Joshua will most likely resort to playing naked ping pong back in his homies garage. Then he will stay fighting more soft UK fighters like himself the remainder of his career.
He'll be discarded the way as you would do with a fish and chips newspaper. You only have to see how Eddie washed his hands with Kell Brook to get an idea of what awaits Joshua when he stops being of value to his owner.
If AJ wins against Ruiz, he's gonna need another good win to gain any recognition again.. Although I rate Ruiz, the public look at him and think he's a fat joke. AJ needs his public credibility back. If AJ loses, he should either retire or sign with Finkel and take the "Wilder bum route" to a title and dozens of pathetic defenses. Either way, he should avoid Fury at all costs.... and not just becasue of skill, Fury would win that fight in the pressers.
