I watched a clip on twitter before showing Henry Cooper absolutely starching Ali with that left hand in 4th round. Dundee purposely ripped a bigger hole in Ali’s glove and so Ali had 2 minutes to get his head together.

I was sat next to Sir Henry Cooper several years ago at the top table at a golf dinner. I was the comedian. I really struggled that night which wasn’t helped by the mic cutting out constantly. He was chuckling away though. He was an absolute gent, genuinely a really nice bloke. He commanded that room and had them hanging on every word.

Worked with Martin Murray, too. He was another gent. Had a good laugh with him.

Sorry, nowt to do with the thread really this post apart from referencing two of the lads in that list.
