Just looking at the videos I'd say the left that Frazier threw was the hardest shot Ali ever took. Joe's feet were planted and he put everything into the punch, snapped Ali's head back and dropped him hard. In terms of which punch hurt Ali the worst I'd have to say Cooper's left. It looked like it seriously shook him up.
Ali got up immediately he went down, and stopped Cooper in the next round.I think the level of his distress may be exaggerated somewhat.
Shavers. Ali wasn't clowning all the time in that fact, he was out on his feet more than once. There's a reason Earnie is considered the greatest heavyweight puncher. You can see Ali's true greatness for the last time in that fifteenth round.
He did, and looked like the greatest swarmer who ever lived in that fight imo. You probably also noticed that, for a person who isn't known at all as a puncher, Ali was able to land some at times seriously hard shots against Joe in the early rounds. The commentators were right when they mentioned that Joe experienced a beating until he started really getting into the proceedings (of course from that point he dominated imo). Foreman hit him with a right uppercut that Ali later said felt like his head came off. You can see him clutching right after, sorry can't remember the round.
Man, Henry really stepped into it. I could be wrong, but I think Ali actually stepped into that hook as well lol. I just can't put Coop above Shavers.
Wow... So much unnecessary aggression. I'll go easy on you because you've clearly got a few issues. If Frazier had a better left hook than Cooper and Frazier had his feet planted and put everything he had into the left hook I'm referring to in the 11th round of his first fight with Ali then it would be harder than the Cooper hook. Now... Time for your medication, Mr Silver.
If we're talking body shots then I would go with this one from Ken Norton. I've never seen Ali react that way to any other body punch. This content is protected
Couple of Foreman's shots got past Ali's gloves too, he caught Ali with a few wild shots. Had to hurt.
He was clearly shocked by Cooper, but its more todo with him fooling around and not expecting to get clocked. Thats clearly evident from the fact he got staight up and stopped him within minutes of the round starting. He was not affected badly,or he wouldnt have done that. Frazier and Shavers were way more, and ali was clearly not dossing in the fights nor was he able to rally to win immediately, he was hurt.
The proof is in the pudding. Cooper's shot affected Ali the most. The hardest shot though, was likely Frazier's or Shaver's
