Palicte is jabbing high, missing, only throwing with about 50% conviction, getting discouraged by all of Ioka's movement. Very low-output frame, Ioka hoping to let Palicte's sweat cool and completely dampen his momentum. Ioka scoring jabs & 1-2s with quick swims inside, barracuda style, before jettisoning himself onto the outer track of the carousel again. Ioka just a kinetic blur. Palicte looks very disheartened.

Palicte is being fixed in place as Ioka dribbles the jab off his face and then with nigh impossibly seamless poise withdraws the left hand, rips a hard left hookk under Palicte's right elbow, and retracts up to his face in a defensive position while resuming the paddle-ball jabs on Palicte's nose. Palicte missing the little he is throwing, not very tentative. An overhand right does buzz Ioka's hairline, but nothing with much starch on it getting through for Palicte. Ioka feeling his oats now, in a groove, crisscrossing around the ring, a surety in his step as he leaves Palicte's ankles in a knot, swinging at shadows.

Palicte is pumping a stiff repeater jab at the forehead, but Ioka has the back of his right glove clamped protectively over it, dulling all the impact of each thud. BIG CHECK HOOK BY IOKA! Palicte hurt. Palicte is backed up. Ioka rips him with right hands! Left hooks! Palicte backed up! Covering himself inadequately! Quick powerful blasts from Ioka with both hands! Palicte overwhelmed! Ref in!
