Fury would give all those fighters problems. Fury moves better than any big boxer I have ever seen. Wlad Klitschko could not land **** and Vitali would have had problems with his as well. Even Lennox Lewis would have had problems landing punches. I hear all these people saying Ruiz would beat Fury. Fury is no Joshua. Fury would beat Ruiz fairly easy. Joshua is like a robot and he is easy to hit and Ruiz can take his best punches with no effect. Joshua is crazy for taking this rematch right away. It is not going to end well for Joshua unless he develops a jab a good uppercut and learn how to tie up on the inside. I think Ruiz is a bit overrated from beating Joshua but Ruiz proved he has a iron chin for sure and is a great counter puncher. I think Ruiz can take Wilder's best punch also and would beat Wilder with ease.

Fury has not proven enough yet to be rated.
I think he's got the ability to be the best boxer at heavyweight since Larry Holmes but he hasn't done enough yet to prove that conclusively.

He is, however, the best since Wladimir Klitschko.
But he needs to beat the top men like Ruiz, Joshua, Parker, maybe Usyk and probably Wilder again, to prove that conclusively too.

How many top ten fighters ( ring magazine ranked ) has Fury beaten? 2? He's 30 now, he'll never fight 9-10 top ten opponents let alone beat that many of them.

If he is the "once in a lifetime ATG" that would mean he'd now become a major champion and beat 1-2 mandatories per year. Until say 37 years old that would allow for quite a series of high quality opposition.

Note I am skeptical of the above, but it is possible if (!) the vision some have for Fury is correct.

I think Lewis bombs him out of there. He had an absolute missile of a right hand and I think it would eventually find the target.

That could wind up proving true, but Fury has a lot more to prove for that to prove true. Time will reveal.

But as of right now, the answer is no.

The guy he was named after was a better heavyweight during the last 20 years.
