Has anyone else lost their A side status as quickly as AJ in recent history?

He went into the fight as an A Side, he came out as a B Side at best.

No way could he demand the lions share against Fury, Wilder or Ruiz now.

Do they generate anywhere near the kind of money AJ does?

They have the belts and the ranking. No way would he be the A Side against either of them.

If he tried fighting Wilder tomorrow for more than 50% he'd be laughed off the table.

And if Wilder tried to offer less then 50% he'd be laughed off the table too. Who generates the money is who is A side - Wilder resume is garbage. AJ would have ran through his resume in half the time, if AJ chose to fight Wilder level opponents he would be undefeated too.

Meh, if he beats Ruiz in the rematch people will be jostling for space on his nuts again. Boxing fans are fickle.

I like AJ tbf, I just hate diva bs and all this talk of how other title holders have to dance to his tune.

Whenever an a side diva loses it is something to celebrate.

B side at best? What are the other options here other than A side and B side. This is binary.

C side is the guy who has to wait for someone to drop out and hope he gets picked, AJ isn't that level yet.

The shell of Mike Tyson got 50/50 against Lewis even though Lewis' team wanted to give him 30. The only thing Tyson was bringing to the table was the name and a shed load of money.

Rightly or wrongly Joshua is still gonna be bring an absolute ton of money. That may/will change if he loses the rematch. Stars get paid. He may not be big in the US but so far DAZN have been willing to throw A side PPV money at him so thats gonna count for a lot. And if its in the UK then he is certainly going to be the A side, I'd expect AJs comeback in the UK will be massive.
