Hold your horses, Fury is nowhere near being an ATG yet. He could possibly do it if he stays active and racks up a number of great wins. Let's not look to far into the future just yet.

Fury's best wins are against a 39 trigger shy Wlad and a one dimensional right hander in Wilder. These are good wins, but not enough to be labelled as great. Needs to beat a few prime fighters who can actually box then we'll see..

After destroying the fearsome Tom Schwarz, Fury is slated to be the next ATG of ATGs!

If he can win a belt and get some solid defences as well as legacy wins vs Wilder and the Ruiz - Joshua II winner then that will be a start.

He's the best heavyweight of this era.

He can't be outboxed and he can't be knocked out, his chin and recovery powers are ridiculous.

Beat the undisputed #1 HW in the world and three-belt unified king and one of the greats Wlad in Germany where everything was stacked against him albeit past prime Wlad

Beat the #2 HW in the world Bum Squad in the USA where everything was stacked against him when he was an inactive suicidal drug-ravaged muscle atrophied 40% shell of himself

Fury is slickest HW of all time and the greatest defensive HW of all time despite him looking like a gypsy giraffe with a big wobbly belly and huge love handles

A 6'9, 260lb + man who moves like and is as nimble on his feet as a lightweight? Inconceivable.

A 40% drug-ravaged suicidal inactive muscle atrophied shell of himself beating the #2 HW in the world in their backyard after not having fought anyone with a pulse in three years and having abused the hell out of their body for 2.5 of those years with industrial amounts of coke, booze and junk food? Inconceivable

The Gypsy King isn't just the slickest and best defensive HW of all times his powers of prophecy are next level too

    An 18 y/o Fury

''2013 British champion'' - check. He achieved that in 2011

''2014 European champion'' - check. Won the Euro title that year.

''2016 Undisputed HW champion'' - became the three-belt unified champion in 2015 and would've won the WBC by 2016 had the powers that be not framed an innocent gypsy man for a crime he did not do

Well Fury just added the final piece of the jigsaw (the WBC belt which everyone knows belongs to him) in 2018 thus fulfilling the prophecy that he would hold all the belts and had it not been for the enforced 3 years out by the gypsy hater mafia powers that be the prophecy would've come to pass when he predicted it would

If The Gypsy King had never discovered chocolate, cakes, beer and cocaine he would've been the greatest fighter of all time, let alone the greatest HW, and I mean fighter of any code of combat and that's a FACT, btw.

    Ride on beautiful gypsy

I think he probably has the skills and abilities for it.

He definitely doesn't have the resume for it -- but he still has time to change that.

I worry he lacks the discipline unfortunately. I suspect he'll manage to squander his remaining years rather than live up to his potential.

If Fury had his head screwed on the right way, some discipline, some grit, above average IQ he could be a great. I have my doubts he is able to perform any sort of long-term thinking. It almost feels what he has in banter and general boxing skills he lacks in the discipline and mental strength department.

I think he's the best in the division. He could easily be a great, could already have been one, but he has one legitimate win on his record against a top 10 HW, two at most, if you considered the second Chisora he fought at fringe world level.

Unify the 4 main belts would be a good start. A few defenses after that would increase his stock.

He's a potential. But needs more runs on the board. It's like saying Leicester City are an all time great English team (in 2016) or The Knack are one of the greatest bands ever (in 1979 after My Sharona came out).
