Spinks, Holmes and Tubbs. Essentially cleaned out these old men (at least they were old compared to him).

When Evander fought Mike, Evander was past his prime. Tyson was coming off a impressive win against Bruno and a first round knockout of seldom. Whilst Evander look to be washed up after his ko defeat to Bowe.

Yes. He lost just about all his important fights. He might not do so hot with today's HWs with how big they are too.

Mike Tysons prime ended after the Spinks fight.......he effectively stopped being a committed fighter and became a party animal/celebrity....all by his own doing, did not matter who could should would be around him...he decided exclusively .

After prison he was barely a shell of his form in the 80's and strictly money con man who lived off his previous success.......the difference is night and day in regards to the way he fought............he fought strictly on talent with zero commitment or fine tuning.

Evander fought a washed up Tyson hype job who never had enough gas in the tank to go 12........he looked the part but did not fight the part...he was not a fighter anymore see Holy rematch.

Lennox Lewis fought the shot beyond shot Ghost of Mike Tyson.

From 86-89 he was one of the best enigmas the Heavyweight scene had seen in decades, a genetic freak born to fight with absurdly God given talents.......even pro Tyson hater Teddy atlas admitts to it.......and the reason Atlas is so sore about it is because of Tyson's wasted talent.

BTW, AJ would last one round with Tyson......that would make the Bruno beat downs look competitive.

This. For a short time Tyson ruled the heavyweight division with an iron fist. Nobody since Tyson has come close to uniting and ruling the division like he did.
