Strange that this is on Channel 5 with the Khan fight- clearly Mick is getting a healthy rights fee for this.

Woeful fight but at least he’s out before the Summer break.

Reminds me of when Dillian Whyte was gonna fight Michael Grant a coupe of years ago!

I saw Samuel Peter fight a journeyman earlier this year and he lost. He looked truly awful and a shadow of his former self. Just a name at this point.

    "absolutely disgusting"

sounds like the sort of language a hormonal female would employ in response to some shock value newspaper item or other she'd just read

The Gorman vs Dubois is obviously the stand out card & after already being hit by Joshua PPV - then Fury both in June - not sure many will take up the Whyte vs Rivas card.
Big shame - but not many will actually get to see this bonanza.

Whyte Rivas is actually an ok card. It’s just not PPV worthy (IMO).

Prince Patel is also on this card as well in an IBO Title fight.

I'm guessing this is Hughie's tune-up for an autumn showdown with Oliver McCall.

Hughie’s team has decided that since the diabolical insult to humanity that was the cowards way out run away stinker against Parker, that now he needs to be matched with easy lays to get KOs on his record.

For example Sexton and Norrad. (He took the Pulev fight in between granted)!

Clearly they think that knocking out a 40 year Samuel Peter who was hasnt fought a name with a record since 2016 is somehow impressive. That name was Pulev so no doubt they will use that for hype.

This fight can most definitely be sold to the casuals based on Sam Peters former glory, so its appealing atleast to some.

Hughie’s career has suffered from chronic poor matchmaking. They’ll keep feeding him corpses and then wonder why he looks out of death against better quality opposition.

Spend the money, bring in an increasingly higher standard of opposition, let him work out trickier opponents and improve his overall offensive game.

They need to bite the bullet and jump into bed with another promoter. Hughie has got the talent to be competing in the higher echelons of the heavyweight division.
