    B) Floyd Patterson vs Rocky Marciano
    C) Gene Tunney vs Archie Moore
    D) Michael Dokes vs David Tua

What makes you think that peak Dokes would lose by early KO?
Don't you see Archie troubling Tunney with his counter punching and good defense?
What do you mean by early KO for Jones? Fitz was only KO-ed by Jeffries and not early. He was never KO-ed by Maher, Sharkey or Choynski. Do you believe that Roy was better puncher/finisher than them?

I don't think Tua takes him out early but Dokes is going to have to box well to see the end. His speed is miles above Tua's but Tua can hurt him and I don't think he can hurt Tua at all. My bet is also a Tua stoppage with a 30% chance of a Dokes points win, in a thumbsuck.

Well, Byrd couldn't hurt Tua in theory but he did well against him. Byrd was more durable though.

Bob times him, lands his bomb and gets Roy outta there
Or he doesn't and Roy dances around to a UD, I flip flop between them
This would be very entertaining for about 7 minutes, then Marciano lands and the fight becomes very brutal and Floyd's mandible is crumpled

    Again
Good fight, I think Tunney UDs him.
Tunney has the jab and movement with the pressure to the body to make Archie look befuddled
Good fight, I think Dokes does well, like Hasim Rahman. I think Tua eventually lands on him and then finishes him

    Tua KO late
    Very interesting fight, props
Hagler UD, both have ATG chins but I think Hagler has the jab and style to upset Sugar and ultimately beat him in a close but clear win

Some great fights here but I have power winning 3-1-1

Dokes is bit underrated and tua is a bit overrated, that said dokes is made for tua, i dont dokes would or could outbox or neutralize tuas hook, he would try to fight tua banking on his lighting quick combos that tua could definitely take and keep fighting, dokes wouldnt he able to get from one of those monster left hooks.

Archie's defence might baffle tunney for a few rounds I doubt hes seen that style before, but tunney does have all the tools to beat the heat of Moore, tunney liked to box from the outside where he could use his ring IQ to control the pace, Moore who was essentially a counter puncher would be at a heavy disadvantage against him and would get broken down.

And about Roy yes, he was a far better fighter in pretty much every department to anyone fitz fought. I believe fitz was great for his era, but like science the sweet science has also changed, as painful is that is for some to admit we all know it, when you watch the way fitz fights with his hands low standing straight up with his chin in the air and not getting leverage into his punches it wouldnt be hard at all to imagine a fighter like Roy to land at will and maul him alot like how Dempsey did to big jess Willard. I just wouldnt put a fighter from the 1800's doing fisticuffs to beat a modern day wonder, maybe I'm just in the wrong forum here lol.

I mean, if Fitz didn't leverage into his punches, then he had more power than Foreman, Liston and Tyson combined.

    A) Bob Fitzsimmons Knocks out RJJ
    B) Rocky Marciano knocks out Patterson
    C) Gene Tunney vs Archie Moore that's a good one. I think Tunney by decision.
    D) I will say Michael Dokes wins this one
    E) Sugar Ray Robinson outpoints him

Foreman and sonny didnt look like they put too much leverage into many of their shots anyways, foreman would practically usually throw arm punches later in his career to avoid telegraphing his shots, fitz also had that kind of natural power alot like they did too dont get me wrong here I'm not saying the champ couldnt bang. You can also see why the rounds back then lasted so long tho cause they wernt maximizing punishment.

Fitz beat most of his opponents within 10 rounds though, so he definitely tried to maximize punishment. He made durable heavyweights like Sharkey and Ruhlin look like easy work. He knocked out heavyweights with body punches, can you imagine that?

    A) Impossible to say. Not enough quality footage of Fitz or his era and could go very differently under different rue sets. All that's certain is that Fitz can easily flatten Roy *if* he connects.
    B) Marciano KO 5
    C) Archie KO 8
    D) Tua KO 6
    E) Robinson split decision
