In a recent IFL interview Hearn seemed to allude that Ryder had received an offer to fight Billy Joe in September.

Who wins if they go at it again ?

The first fight was very close. A 100% fit and focussed Saunders decisions him imo.

Not sure Ryder has improved since fight by fight whereas Saunders is class when he is up for it but not sure he would fancy what he would probably see as a step down to domestic/European level

Thoughts Saunders had to fight the mandatory that no one had ever heard of?

Saunders is a c***. Would love to see him on the receiving end of a beat down but it’s not going to happen unless he gets in with a Callum Smith type.

He’s an absolute waste of talent. He needs to be in the big fights now.

He doesn't want to be. That's the point. He started cashing out as soon as he got busted for "nasal spray". And he looked absolute dog toffee last out.

Guy has been ducking young CHRIS ever since he PROMISED him a rematch as his first world title defence.

Saunders wants zero part of the relentless young war machine to my objective eye.

Saunders said: "He had a good work-rate but it was a bit too slow in the early rounds. I'm ready for a world title. And when I get the world title, I'll give him the first shot."

Might have been a ridiculous comment but he still said it

However since then that’s when all the Eubank crap came out where they seemed to be impossible to work with. Both FW and Hearn walked away from them after BJ signed for the rematch and Jnr didn’t. Then hilariously they turned down 3 million quid for GGG after saying he would beat 2 years beforehand on Ringside.

Essentially the Saunders fight all those years ago is his best performance, for rounds 7-12. He looked awful losing clearly against a shop worn Groves and we know Degales body had completely broken down Sergio Martinez style, which is why he won that.
