    Probably could have.

Doesn’t have top 5 elite mentality though, happy to coast.

These refs are way too trigger happy lately. I'm calling it now. AJ stops Ruiz in a very questionable way in the rematch.

He threw every thing he had at him, and the old boy didn't go down.

No you're right. Joe gave it his best and along the way, made it look like he's feather fisted which I don't believe he is.

I do think he can learn a few new things like counter punching to say the least. Barrys never trained any champions, he's only got his hands on NZs best.

Nah. Most of us are huge fans of Parker and know that hes capable of so much more. That's why we give him such a hard time.

You guys should look at it from different perspective. Leapei showed classy chin and toughness and was protected from further damage, maybe he can get matched vs. decent prospects in the future to get some nice little paydays. He deserves it. Tuf mf.

He was hitting him flush then backing off....none of the others at the top would have let him see 4

The referee saved AJ from a hell of a beating, and probably his career. I would have loved to see AJ drooling on the canvas tbh, but he was going to be executed in there and the referee saved him. Nothing to blame on the ref, tbh. I like fighters to continue their careers after a lost.

There is a thread about vargas today. I would have loved the referee to british-stop the trinidad fight, tbh, but it didnt happen and we lost a hell of a talent.
