I doubt it. I think Fury would beat him in a boring and easy fashion (like Fury did against 2014 prime Chisora). Whyte versus .... Wilder and Ruiz .... would be interesting fights, he'd be a very live underdog. .... and, well, Joshua already beat him up quite convincingly and would do so again unles he's been completely ruined by his encounter with the fat mexican.
No chance. But he does deserve to be ranked 5th as it stands. Lost to AJ already, and would lose again via KO Tyson Fury easily wins a UD. Usyk probably stops him Wilder knocks him out cold early.
He's a handy B level fighter to have around that is aggressive and in some good fights, but I can see him becoming a gatekeeper in coming years. He's done well to get a lot of ppvs and money in the bank without fighting for a world title, and can make more and bank out on that given his position soon
I think Parker would beat him if they fought again. Old Pulev and Old Ortiz would be at least 50-50 against him too. Parker and Chisora are his only good wins and I reckon he was fortunate to get that decision against Parker, all things considered .... and Chisora has lost to a lot of fighters already. Whyte is good though. Has a good chance against just about anyone, I guess. I suppose that's what makes him an interesting fighter. He's good enough to be given a good chance against the best but he's not so good that he's a sure-thing to beat the 'second tier' guys. For example, right now it's conceivable he can lose to Oscar Rivas maybe, and he can beat Deontay Wilder maybe.
Fury, Wilder, Ruiz, AJ all beat him for me. I also think Parker would win a rematch and Usyk probably boxes rings around him. He's not great technically but his gameness and left hook make up for that. His real issues are his chin and stamina. He just hasn't got the ability to get away with those flaws against the best of the division. In saying that, he's a genuine top ten guy and is doing very well for himself financially so fair play. A straight talker as well.
I’ve been a big critic of Whyte but I think we have to give him the benefit of the doubt, acknowledge he has improved greatly as a boxer and come to the conclusion that he’s now a sort of unknown quantity to some extent at the elite level. It’s clear that he has improved massively.
Definitely improved, since the Joshua defeat he’s got two functioning shoulders, got fitter, developed much more power, speed & timing. He recognises that he’s best inviting an opponent into a gun fight rather than chasing his opponent and forcing the action. If he lands his big left hand, he’s capable of the KO. I think he’ll only come unstuck against intelligent opponents with decent footwork who won’t get lured in. Good luck to him.
Many good comments here already, can't fault them. I've spoken in depth about Dillian for a long time now on here. I'm going to take a break now until after the Rivas fight. Let Dillian do the talking in the ring. I'll just say this - Dillian has the best chance to beat the top four out of anyone else beyond the top 5. He finds a way to win, and if he doesn't win... his opponent will know they've been in a serious fight and that's all that matters. Forget 2015, it's 2019 and Dillian is the best improved.

He’s probably around top 6 in reality. A Wilder fight would end in a brutal KO loss. Fury would outbox and possibly stop him late. AJ I still think he would get KOd again. I actually quite fancy him against Ruiz to possibly win on points. Ortiz if he doesn’t age over night would beat him.
As said, he has improved since the AJ fight. Gives 100%. He's dangerous and game. Wilder didn't fancy it for a career high payday a while back. Tyson runs rings around him. He has a punchers chance against the current AJ and Wilder as well.. I'd give him 30% to AJ's 70, and 20% to Wilders 80.
